Eighteen national and international participants with a wide range of research interests learned the theory behind DAS and DTS measurements prior to a day of hands-on experience at the UNR Lake Tahoe campus. Attendees were presented with practical considerations for survey design, cable termination and deployment, data management, and analysis. Ultimately, they discovered how to de-risk their research plans and leverage CTEMPs’ instrumentation and end-to-end support.
