Workshop At A Glance
A fast-paced, hands-on introduction to Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) and Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) for Earth and environmental applications. Learn practical approaches to field deployment, data acquisition, quality control, and first-look processing through demonstrations, examples, and exercises.
About CTEMPs
CTEMPs provides field-deployable, high-precision fiber-optic temperature and acoustic measurement systems and Openly Published Environmental Sensors. User fees are kept low, and staff scientists support experiment design, installation, hands-on training, and data analysis
Instruments are available through an online request process and non-commercial projects for discovery and education are welcome. CTEMPs also offers test sites for experiment de-risking and pilot-study support to help new investigators to get started.
Register Through AGU
All workshop participants must register for AGU26. A separate scientific workshop ticket is required in addition to Annual Meeting registration. In-person only; no virtual component or recording. agu.org/annual-meeting
